What is a chemical bolt?

  • Chemical bolt is the use of chemicals to create adhesion between the base material (Concrete, brick, stone…) and the bolt.
  • Chemical bolts used today usually have two forms, one is used with chemical pipes (glass tubes or nylon plastic pipes).

Application

  • Installing machines, equipment, rigid rails, rebar/ threaded rods/ chemical bolts… Mounting threaded rods and strengthening, adding reinforcement to solid concrete.
  • Links into solid hardwood structure, solid rock, reinforcing bar. Especially suitable for large diameter rebar into reinforced or fiber reinforced concrete.

Construction process




Buoc 1

Drill to the specified depth 10D (10 times the bolt diameter), or according to your own design. The bore diameter is at least 2mm larger than the threaded rod diameter.




Buoc 2

Clean the bore with a clean air blower. (Do not use an air compressor containing oil in it that is difficult to blow, affecting adhesion chemicals).




Buoc 3

Blow the remaining dust 1 more time. Squeeze the trigger 2~3 times for the glue to come out of the gun head with a uniform color to be used.




Buoc 4

Start pumping from the bottom of the drill hole, while pumping, gradually withdraw to the outside so that the amount of glue is just enough. When pumping, observe the ml printed line on the label of the glue tube.




Buoc 5

Need to remove grease, clean before inserting into the hole just injected glue. Slow motion, both rotation and translation to ensure compaction without air bubbles.




Buoc 6

Pay attention not to affect the newly installed structure within the specified time of gelling chemicals, for more convenience refer to the image below.

Attention

  • Do not apply when the surface temperature is lower than 0oC. The product should be stored at a temperature of 5-30oC. The optimum temperature is 25oC.
  • The information is based on the theory of pure EPOXY resin chemicals, which should be noted before use to improve the product line advantage in the construction application to recommend the optimal solution.
  • If the gelation time in the chemical reaction between the two components of the colloidal product has expired, use a new stationary mixing nozzle. Do not cut or shorten the pump nozzles. Do not drain the spiral in the pump nozzle.
  • During the construction process, if the pump nozzle is blocked, or abnormally damaged, it must be replaced immediately with a new one. Do not let the glue tip, or the nozzle of the pump stick with grit, gravel, etc., leading to clogging of the pump nozzle.
  • If the glue tube is not used up, simply clean the mouth of the opening, then plug the plug back in and close the cap tightly. The tube can be reused later with the new static mixing nozzle. Make sure the bore in the substrate is properly cleaned.
  • Holes can be wet but must be cleaned from water. Do not dilute the mixed glue through the nozzle with any solvents or other chemicals. Make sure the glue is mixed spirally throughout its length in the stationary mixing pump nozzle.
  • Do not anchor implant in concrete that has not been fully cleaned as instructed.

Glue EPOXY ALPHA I

  • A type of pure two-component EPOXY glue, superior in the system of high-strength adhesive anchor products for drilling steel, chemical bolts, threaded rods, metal structures, high-quality wood. roughness, edge, thread, clamp… to the base material which is concrete, solid block brick, solid fired clay brick, natural stone.
  • The superior product allows the construction of anchors in different directions: horizontal, vertical, even upside down. The product does not melt or fall out of the hole, causing waste like other common steel implants.
  • The kit includes an epoxy-based glue packed in a hard plastic double-tube tube of equal capacity to help balance the mixing ratio better, with less risk than other types of implant drill glue.
  • The product is sold with a static mixer nozzle in a bag and cardboard box to ensure easy and safe transportation and storage.
